Our assignments with sponsors and investors are often as part of an overall advisory group where E&C Acquisition is focused on particular aspects of a large and complex development plan. These assignments often involve E&C Acquisition coordinating and providing the analytics in the development of a specific capital structure for the project’s senior debt, one of many critical areas in achieving financial close.
Our typical assignment involves: providing project economic analysis, engagement with construction providers to review the procurement strategy, engagement with relevant export credit agencies, and negotiating a reasonable financial security package to achieve financial close.
Post closing, E&C Acquisition will work with the engineering and construction providers to ensure export credit agency compliance, as it is critical that goods and services meet export credit agency eligibility requirements and are properly documented through auditable processes.
